Need help or found a bug? Email [email protected] — I read every message.

When reporting a problem, please include your iPhone model, iOS version, and the app version (Settings → bottom of the screen). It helps me fix things faster.

Getting started

Open the Scan tab and point the camera at the page. Scana detects the edges and corrects the perspective automatically. Tap the shutter to capture; you can add more pages. When you're done, review the suggested name, pick a folder, and tap Save PDF.

The same viewfinder recognises them — no mode switching. Tap the highlighted code to open its result screen.

Files and storage

Inside Scana, on your iPhone. If iCloud sync is on (Settings → Privacy), they are also mirrored to your own private iCloud.

Scana keeps documents in its own library, not in the Files app. To put a PDF into Files, open the document and use Share → Save to Files. You can also share it to any other app from there.

Folders are created and browsed inside Scana (Library → Folders). They are not folders in the iOS Files app. A document that's in a folder appears inside that folder; documents without one appear under No folder.

Open the document and use the Folder menu — you can pick an existing folder, create a new one, or remove it from folders.

Swipe a document, folder, or code in the list, or use the delete button on the document screen. Deleting a folder keeps its documents — they simply become unfiled.
